We've used EnRoute routing software in our shop for more than six years. It allows us to create the routing files as I envision them with no limits. I heartily recommend this software to anyone who is purchasing a CNC router.

Back when I first started in the sign business, more than 30 years ago I discovered a trade magazine called SignCraft. I was amazed at the work I saw there. I was determined that some day our own work would be good enough to be pictured in this prestigious magazine. Sure enough it did happen. Now I write articles for them often and each time it is a dream come true!
I learned to paint signs the old fashioned way - with a brush. Much later as we entered the digital age I missed those casual letter styles I could whip out so effortlessly the old way. I digitized them and now market them though this top quality site. Take a look and I have no doubt you will find some fonts you simply can't live without!
New, modern materials have replaced much of what we used in the old days. Coastal Enterprises' Precision Board HDU, glues and primers are the material of choice for us. While most shops settle for lesser densities of HDU we use 30 and 40 lb Precision board exclusively. The material holds detail extremely well and is tougher than anything else out there. Give them a try and you won't use anything else.
When we need realistic rock work we phone up our friends at Stonetree Studios. They are known far and wide for incredible realism and quality work. They have always delivered on time and on budget. We recommend them without any reservations.
For our detailed sculptures we like to use Abracadabra Sculpt. My good friend Steve Greer offered me a sample a few years ago. I tried it reluctantly as he promised me the moon. I was amazed at the magic material. Since then we have used TONS of this stuff and used it in all manner of conditions in all scales of projects. It works! We LOVE it!
