Dan Sawatzky is best described as a creative force in the sign industry. He is a visual storyteller extraordinaire. His art career spans more than forty years of magic.  Dan and his crew host Sign Magic Workshops in their studio a number of times each year with attendees coming from around the world.

Last piece on

Work continued today on the Fox and Hounds Pub sign. It is looking bigger all the time. I glued on the last piece of Precision Board today, and now it is on to the final carving and then the sculpt of the fox head. That will be done from the comfort of a scaffold, not something we often do on a sign face.

It won't be long until we are into paint. Stay tuned...

Incredible Dan! That's one for the record books...is this the largest HDU sign you've made to date?

Precision Board should use this photo for their ads....HDU strong enough to stand on!
